Hey all,
Any advice for a decent looking tank bag to fit over the step thru/ fuel cover part?
I've got the red and black, so preferable something that goes well with the colour scheme (lar dee dar ).
I've had a quick look around on ebay and amazon but I'm really not sure what I'm looking for, with fastenings and such.
Cheers

You mean a tunnel bag Seph? I confuse the two also. Tunnel, tank, tail...it's "All About The "T's"
Can't come up with much for UK folk but a few here sport a Givi. Some connect one end under the front portion of their seats, while others feel their knees will hold it in place (note that this bag will be squeezed in pretty tight). I personally would fasten it under the seat (at least).
Okay, here's the Tunnel bag, found on Amazon UK (only one left, seller states) and the price sounds good: http://www.amazon.co.uk/EA105-Givi-Scoo ... er+Luggage

Brilliant, thanks for that. I'll have to pick one up. I've been on a givi site and saw a good one with a phone port and all that.

White Noise is right about UK selections for reasonably priced tank bags. I don't think we can get that GIVI in the US for a decent price. But for those in the USA both WN and I use this one with no issues. Great for rain gear
Direct from motorcycle superstore with or without straps in two colors on closeout for 39.00 usd http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/42 ... s-tank-bag
I use the one with straps but found I never needed them because it fit perfectly without. Maybe WN can speak to the strapless one. I assume they both would snug in nicely... also found on Amazon.

I think we have two different Cycle Case models homie, but you're right, we both like them and the prices were (almost) "priceless!"
We bought them when they first got discounted...and Hey! they still have homie's expander model on sale for a great price (see his link above). There are optional rain covers for them as well (discounted...I think, like 5 bucks! )
These two are our cases (note captioning above each photo) Sorry, pics are LARGE

Oh, and yes mine comes with straps that connect by quick release clips. I place the case in the "tunnel area" with one strap connected and placed under the front end of my seat. (Lift seat and find the sweet spot ) As I said earlier, the case does fit snugly (but not to the point of crushing it).
I don't know if these bags are available across the pond, I haven't looked.
Come to think of it, forum member Mel has one of these Cycle Cases too

WN I want the EXACT one you have as a back up since these are on closeout can you link me to where you ordered yours without the upper expander and attached eyeglass case please? Thanks man Maybe it's not a closeout item where you purchased?

Cheers for the heads up on the cycle bags. I know a shop that sells this sort of thing I might take my Scooter down and measure up.
I like the idea of having a strap to keep it in place. I once had to do a nappy run and the multi pack box have to be kept in place by my knees, wasn't comfortable for me in a certain place.

How are those free they look real nice and with all ye gear on the rear you'd be getting a pretty good wheelie too.
