Anyone ride one-up on pillion?

So I was riding around this evening and experimenting with different seat positions (the "ridge" on my 2015 is more forward than I'd prefer) and found that if I put my own butt on the pillion and my feet on the foot pegs it seemed to mimic the seating position of a sport bike - I felt like I was riding my old Ninja :D I was actually very comfortable riding like this - my Ninja had clip ons so I'm used to really low bars and being able to extend my arms forward felt good. I was still able to get both feet on the ground at stops so I felt quite stable although I couldn't quite flat foot it from the pillion. Another thing I noticed with riding like this is I could actually tuck super low - so low that the stock windscreen actually kept wind off my head :D

So after riding around for about 15 minutes like this I put my butt back in the proper position and I felt like an old granny with my arms bent :D

So does anyone else ever ride like this? If you haven't you should try it.

Yes. And sometimes I lay flat out over the seat with my legs straight out the back like that old speed record photo--that is, when I'm not balancing on one foot on the seat with my arms spread wide. ;)

heh, well, you're going to put more wear and tear on the back end over time, but my best friend has a 2010 Elite 110 and that's where he sits on it. He's 6'2" and has orangutan arms, so it works for him, but it does put more weight directly over the back tire which wears down pretty quickly on scooters to begin with.

Yes, I switch back and forth if my back gets tired, but I leave my feet in the original position! I hate the seat valley, it makes me slouch from sitting so far forward!

I hadn't thought about the excessive wear on the rear tire - that's a good point.

Yeah I was riding as you describe for awhile too but having my feet on the passenger pegs was even more comfortable for me. I may start looking into aftermarket seats that don't have a hump or ridge like the new OEM seats.
