I thought all PCXs were assembled in Thailand but my 2015 PCX 150 says it was made in Vietnam January of 2015. So I figured I'd start this poll to see how popular the Vietnamese PCXs are

You'll find the answer on the "Badge" under the steering head. Also the manufacturing date is there in case you're curious.
I entered Vietnam.

Hmmm...the vote is 3-3 so far so I guess having a Vietnamese PCX isn't that unusual.

Huh? It's not a popularity contest. It's not like you get to choose the country that Honda decides to manufacture them in.

Interesting selection of tunes, some pretty tenuous connections though.
My favourite Vietnam song is by Country Joe MacDonald and The Fish, Gimme an F!.....

Yes
Chief says "you get the comforting thought that you ride a two wheeler assembled by a people whom your country burned to the ground"... enjoy the irony.

Like the only country ever to use nuclear weapons invading and destroying another country because they were alleged to have weapons of mass destruction which were never found?
All the while the country doing the invading and destroying holds the largest arsenal of wmd anywhere on the planet.
You couldn't make it up.

Eve of Destruction
For music sake and afa Vietnam, this was the first song I played on my learning guitar. It was a powerful song to me, and I was young. It was the mid 60's. Still powerful.

Thread-drift away boys - you have my blessing
Some of you may also enjoy this video I found of an early PCX prototype undergoing testing in Vietnam:
CAUTION: Video may not be "work-safe" depending on where you work and may also be offensive to most women - and for that I do apologize

I'm just curious as to the number of Thai v. Vietnamese assembled PCXs. I have never seen any sort of official Honda publicity or motorcycle/scooter press mention of the fact that a significant number of PCXs are assembled in Vietnam - I've only seen Honda and the reviewing press mention the Thai assembly. Even though there's a big sticker that says it was made in Vietnam it's as if Honda doesn't want to publicize it - maybe they think there are some Americans who would not want to buy a Vietnamese product? I personally don't care but I will admit to being happy that my Honda car was made in Japan

Your point is well taken gn2 but a couple of points should probably be made in the interest of full disclosure:
A) I believe the United Kingdom was a partner with the USA in the Manhattan Project to develop an atomic bomb during WWII - so you get partial credit too
B) The United Kingdom was also a member of the USA led coalition during the Iraq War, so again you guys get partial credit again
C) Depending on what you classify as WMD and how you count them, Russia arguably has more - for example according to this source Russia has more nuclear warheads than the USA: http://www.businessinsider.com/nine-nat ... has-2014-6
