I've just bought a H2C sport touring windscreen for my 2015 PCX125.

I've removed the 2 front screws from the original screen, but need some advise on releasing the trim clips at the side of the front grille panel (above the LED lights).

1) What tools would you recommend to safely ease front grille panel out of the trim clip?

2) Is there a technique you use to safely remove the front grille panel?

once you take off the small two screws in the front under the screen, you PULL FORWARD on the bezel and it will come free = you don't mess with the side clips after you pop the ends loose near the bar. if you are gonna mes with your bike please buy a shop maual , they are invaluable. From the manual:

Thanks for that. Honda wanted about £120 to fit the new screen, which was only £13 off my PCX's 600 mile service with valve clearance check! Having said that I didn't want to do anything silly potentially costing more than Honda to fit the screen in the first place.

Hi Stephen you're not alone. Removing the screens grille without breaking the upper tabs is a challenge, so good that you're asking. Glen is right, owning a copy of the Service Manual is a blessing if you want to tinker a lot, or even a little with your scoot.

Which means that your valve clearance check was probably a little listen to see if it sounded ok..
