It's times like these that I'm glad I have a scooter instead of a motorcycle :)

Excellent and why we keep em around, yes I tend to squid on scooter runs for the wife. Loaf of bread, milk or when I'm out of mikes hard lemonade. If I could eat McDonalds there is one every 3 blocks and it wouldn't take me 4 minutes to get there LOL.

Might be tougher for a Burgman 400 or one of those bigger scoots! And super easy on a Grom, although storage is an issue there.

I've only been through drive through McDonald's maybe a couple of times mostly to grab like an Egg McMuffin on my way to work, but I do go to drive through banks like once a week.

No, but then is their a point to pointing out the lack of a point?

Speaking of pointless videos, my first PCX vid (see below) now has over 1,500 views on YouTube and comes up #9 when you search "Honda PCX 150" :D

If you add "review" or "test" to the search it comes up in the top 5 - so I guess this means I'm famous now - woohoo! :D

A few years back, I did a blog comparing my experiences at local drive-thrus. Can't seem to find it, but if you feel like dredging through my blog, that's fine. hah!

woop, found it...now this was back in 2008...I think I still had my Yamaha Vino at the time.

There doesn't have to be a point...it's on the Internet...That's kinda part of the deal: people sharing experiences. It may not interest you, but I'm sure there are people out there that find it at least a little interesting.

Interesting read - thanks! Weird that your McDonald's drive-thru sensor picked up your old Vino but mine doesn't pick up my PCX :D

had the same thought last night when i re read the blog post. It may also be that since all the McDonald's franchises I've been to have video cameras, they may just be paying attention to the monitors.

Who would want their scooter to smell like what comes out of a McDonald's for very long time? :o I think you just made a case for separate case.

Just put the windows down for a while to air it out.

:D tbln makes a good point but fortunately for me the food doesn't stay under the seat long enough for the smell to permanently permeate the plastics that I've noticed. That said, I personally wouldn't complain if my scooter smelled like McDonald's french fries - I love their fries! I know they're bad for me so I've been going more often to a Subway - slightly more healthy and less smelly :D

It's over 2,000 views now and seems to be growing at an exponentially faster rate - soon I'll be able to retire off my YouTube earnings and ride around on my PCX all day :D

We have White Castles (rectal rockets) all over here and the smell can make me nauseous at times.
