I've been playing about with how to mount my SJCAM 4000 (poor man's Go-Pro) on the PXC.
Tried the windscreen but far too much vibration. Next tried mounting it on the right wing which was OK but still quite a lot of vibration. Tried a helmet mount which was good, but I just felt a wally ! Last week bought one of those chest mount strap things on eBay and was quite pleased with the result. Filmed my short commute to and from work and the result can been viewed below:
See they've got the Christmas lights on the dome already. Bah humbug

Nice clarity, and vibrations seem to be at a minimum. I tried my camera on the bike itself and the vibrations were just to much. That leaves a chest mount or a helmet mount, and I think the helmet mount would be too much since my head is just above the tall Givi windshield and picks up a lot of wind. However, the chest mount would put the camera where it is looking through the windshield instead of outside of it. After I fix the bikes I will have to try a chest mount to see what the results will be. Maybe I will get lucky.

Very nice! I watched about the first 10 minutes of it and I have 2 observations:
1) Your traffic lights seem to go from red to yellow briefly before they turn green - I've never seen that before.
2) You have an extremely spooky commute in the dark - in fact with that piano music you had playing I was reminded of the following

They should go > Red, Red & Amber (get ready to go), Green and then Amber (slow down prepare to stop) then Red. If your a cyclist you treat all colours as good to go , if your a BMW or Audi driver almost the same, of the rest a large proportion treat a light that is just about to go red as a 'speed up and go through a solid red' tactic.

Thought that was only a U.S. affliction.

Nice video, Thanks.
Lovely city; I haven't been there in years. Thanks for the visit.
Plus the music goes well with the autumn mood.
More vlogs please!

Nice views of my favourite city, roads very quiet and dark at 7.30am, did you forget to put your clock back an hour last week. Looking at buying the SJcam 4000 myself.

Yes I had forgot to adjust the clock, so it should read 6.30am
The SJCAM 4000 is excellent, used it for all the films I've got on Youtube. Very reliable, easy to use and a fraction of the cost of a Go-Pro.
I've other films taken around Edinburgh on my Youtube page. Most were filmed from my old 50cc Sym so don't expect any speed limits under threat.
