Someone knocked over my PCX! How do I get touch up paint?

Post by bekeeram »

The alarm woke me up. Went outside to check my bike and it was on the floor. Some shmuck knocked my beautiful metallic red PCX over...thankfully the scratches aren't too deep, most can be buffed out. Question is...where do I get touch up paint (R320-P)? How do I apply it correctly?

Wait check the year on that... I bought the pearl white and it was close enough. Tactfully placed reflective tape or pinstripe can also make little imperfections disappear forever. Out of sight out of mind.

There are tens of "how to use touch up paint YouTube videos" out there ,just watch a few...

the real key is not to use much at all, use many thin layers , and let it cure for 30 days before you try and polish it. I use a toothpick to put it on. The brushes that they usually give you are miserable. Any Honda dealer should have touch up paint.

I wish I could put a pinstripe...the scuff marks are on the corner of the panel (I'll post pictures tomorrow when there's light outside).

Thanks for the link, but it doesn't have the color code so I'm not exactly sure if its the right one...
