1st spark plug replacement after how many miles?

At 6,000 miles, my PCX starts quickly. The owners manual says to replace the plug at 5,000 miles. When did you replace yours for the 1st time?
I put an Iridium plug in at the first oil changes of my scooters. ....so, around 50-75 miles.
