Any Old Honda Mechanics Here? (Rear Shock Compatability)

I have seen OLD (1977,78) Honda goldwing shocks that are the same length as a PCX, top mounting eyes will need modded bushings to mount on a PCX, but they seem identical. Heavy duty & adjustable if needed. Cheap lol. Any old Honda wrenches know if they will fit? I'm 190 and these ink pen springs Honda used are a joke. The YSS Z series just wonder if they last with a heavier rider.

Already have a set of Michelin city grips Ho Ho brought early for my sore hiney o_O

These old Showa's off GoldWings will last, any wrench know if they are compatible? PCX's are like 6 Inches in diameter.

Rode for 47 years, I have kept it pegged & avg 81 MPG, but only 322 miles on it. It keeps me at limit (55mph) even in the river valley, I am shocked and feel like I am 8 on my 1969 Honda QA50, grin ear to ear lol. These SL70 forks I can deal with but the rear ink pen springs gotta go lol.

I'm no kind of expert, but I don't see anyone else answering.

I think that the shocks for an old, much heavier Goldwing would have a poor range of spring response for a PCX,
whether the dimensions are similar, or not. Most likely they would be way overdamped.

If you'd like something beefier, I'd look into aftermarket shocks.

Say it like it is, stupid idea. As a minimum.
