Can't send PM

Hopefully someone can help me. I've tried sending three PMs to admin regarding adding a personal avatar . Each time I hit send, the message ends up in my outbox, but I can't send from there.
No idea what the problem is, can anyone help?

It is actually a feature, not a bug.
Outbox in this case means that the PM has not been delivered (eg. The adresee has not read it) yet. Once it had been reading it disappears from the outbox.

No worries John nothings wrong.
As soon as you hit the (pm) send button your message goes into the outbox and remains there until the receiver opens it to read it. If you still see three pm's sitting in your outbox to maddiedog, then he has not read them yet. Give him some time he's been busy. I hope that helped

Thanks to all for your advice I managed to get the Avatar up but gave up on resizing.
At least, I look skinnier

About resizing images/creating avatars, I've been using this website (and I also saved it to my desktop for quick access)

If you look in the left colume, you'll see Create Avatar. Click it and then Scroll down that page. You'll notice 3 Very Easy steps to create an avatar.
Try it!
1) Choose a picture that you have saved in your desk computer's photo file (iPad or cellphone gallery, or whatever).
2) Type in the max size our forum allows: 120
3) Click the resize button, then wait a second or two.
3 choices of avatars will appear of your picture, choose which one you like best. Click that choice. Next it will appear by itself. Now you have the opportunity to download it (save it) to your computer to be used as your avatar.
Sounds like a lot of stuff to do, but it's actually Very Simple to follow and fun to see the end result:
