I can just say "hats off" when I see people engaging in challenges like these. That takes knowledge, skills, time, and money. Sometimes not just a little money.

I love swaps. I was taken for a ride on a VW Golf mk 1 fitted with a 1.8 Turbo engine donated by an Audi TT and man, you just would not believe the ooooomph that little sucker had. It's definitely worth it. Good luck with his project. I'll keep an eye on it.

Friend of mine once had a Lada fitted with a race spec twin cam Fiat Mirafiori engine.

The Lada, if I recall correctly, was a derivative of the old Fiat 124. That was, most likely, an easy swap to do since a lot of components would be compatible. You may check out this:

The day Clarkson and his crew decided to make a driver's car out of a Lada  . I like this Top Gear show, though Clarkson is kind of weary with his jokes about the war whenever german cars are involved.

Back to topic, if this guy succeeds, Honda should know. A 250-300 cc PCX with some extra wind protection would sell well, I guess.

I owned a Mirafiori when living in London, what an unreliable piece of Italian rubbish. Abandoned it at a car yard when I blew the headgasket!

Rust, oh yes! Had the boot (trunk) lid fly off when driving down the M1 doing 100 from rusted hinges. Scariest part was having to run back and get the lid from the middle of the motorway.

They're worth good money now.

Is this turning into a Fiat thread? I want one of these:

Indeed it was, but with heavier gauge steel in the bodywork.
I had a 1200 estate and it was built like a tank.
It was nicknamed Ivan.

The Faze 250 should be sold in more markets, not just Japan.
Alternatively, an S-wing fitted with the SH300 motor.

That's not a standard 600. It's a multipla. Kind of an early people carrier. How sexy is it? Fantastic

My uncle had one of those Lada, but it was a saloon powered by a 1.5 engine. I can remember that the engine was quite lively. My uncle liked that car a lot on those days. Sold it and bought a diesel Peugeot 504 wagon  to use it as a workhorse for his business.
