Hello Everyone!

I have a 2013 PCX 150 and I am trying to find the easiest way to remove just the front cover because I scratched it and am replacing it with a new one(see pic).

I have looked at this thread(scroll down page to see manual)

I am confused because according to the flowchart I can just go Front Grille --> Front Cover?
But when you go to section 3-12 it says I need to remove the Front Grille --> Inner Cover --> Body Cover --> Front Cover?
And of course each those pieces needs other pieces to be removed first.

yep, you are going to have to pull nearly every body panel off to get to that one

Sorry to say that almost everyone who has an accident on them ends up scratching that part, and to get to it means pulling almost every single part off of the bike, starting in the back. Yes, starting in the back! I have taken my 2013 bikes apart at least 6 times and i have found no way around it without breaking some tabs. My suggestion would be to get some black model pain and touch it up until something else goes wrong that requires you to take the bike apart.

Good one Mel, I want to see how this turns out.
Honda should put sliders on this part of the scooter and make them accessible and replaceable from the outside.

One more reason to like white. It tends to not show those sorts of things as badly. Although, I have to admit, if it was my bike, I too would want it replaced regardless if it looked bad or not.

If you have safe storage space, I would purchase the needed parts now.

If you can afford the time during the winter, then that would be the time to learn how to take this bike apart. Maddiedog has a thread on how to dismantle the PCX. Find it and use it. Also, get a Service Manual for your year model. It will help as well, for now and the future. Don't be afraid to attempt something just because you have not done it before. My biggest suggestion is to try to separate the screws for different areas. Trying to separate them for each part will be impossible, so just separate them by area. I have 5 or 6 of those magnetic bowls that hold nuts, bolts, and screws. Even that amount isn't enough, so I gathered some plastic containers that have lids. Even zip lock bags will do the job, as long as you do not lose the bags among the parts. Stack the parts in a safe area so that you will not step on them.

I found an easy way to make certain that each screw was returned to it's point of origin:
I scanned each page from the service manual into the computer for the requisite work area so I can print them as needed any time, then poke each screw into it's spot in the picture on the printed page.
I can come back days, weeks, or even months later and continue without error.
Sometimes I"ll tape the page to a piece of cardboard.

Cheap and no way to... 'screw up'.

So how about some reflective tape along the whole edge? Both sides of course to keep things uniform. Quick fix! And you get some glo power! You could toss in some scrolling or decals in the mix...ones that you like. Think about it. Use your imagination....run wild! Fun now, Fixie later
