Here in Thailand, the police furnish their own bikes. Some choose wisely.

I wouldn't mind that windscreen.

Neat! Does Honda sell an upgraded electrical package to support all the extra load? Lots of lights and a police radio must load it down pretty good. Aux. Battery?

Yikes! Especially with those old-fashioned bubble lights rather than all LEDs!

I would love to have those side bags, but they look like the entire assembly is connected and they just put the whole assembly on at once. Then there are those metalbars all around the bike. Interesting. I do think the new LED lights would have been better, but maybe they were chosen prior to LEDs coming into vogue.

Ingenious! Crash bar haven!
Very cool custom framing for hard sidebags, rear rack and wrap around crash bars. I'm digging the mirrors!
Wait...Look at that siren! Wahhh
What's top speed?

I suspect a lot of things aren't. So what are some of the perks whilst living in Thailand?

Did you notice what look like LED lights built into the tailbox? Those would be great stop lights if they were red, but of course they couldn't flash so much as to distract everyone. Still, that's a lot of stuff on that bike.

In the corruptness that is rampant throughout Thailand, where the police often have to provide their own guns and motorcycles, it is not unheard of for an officer to confiscate an unregistered or wrongly registered motorcycle (and there are lots of them here), and claim it as his own. :o

I believe those lights will flash different colours even though they look clear.

If they can do this to motorbikes here in Thailand, the crash bars and side bags aren't an issue. ;)

It is a faux police bike from Sor Wor Por. An electronics shop presumably selling police style widgets. Their phone number in Chiang Mai province ends in 7128. They have other branches. The writing on the side says Chiang Mai.
Add to that there is no word police or a Royal Thai Police crest?

Interesting windshield. I wonder where it comes from and how much windproof they are. They look like chopped from another scooter.

I love those sidecars but I can't imagine a PCX having enough power to pull one. The Forza has enough power, so that sidecar is practical. The PCX....maybe in town, but not on the open road.

So in Thailand it's cool to cruise around impersonating authority? This is one special place, I ask Chief if we could go to Thailand for one of our vacations next year and he was surprisingly opposed. When I pressed for details as to why, it was all about prostitution and other human rights issues. Such a beautiful place but if Chief won't go.

That first sidecar with the awning needs a mini-fridge and it'd be perfect.

Whoa, a faux cop bike?!
Is that permissible in this locale? Say it isn't so!

Thinking....Why when I were young, me and me gang of hooligan's, (aka The Hill Gang) would have one (make one) of these. Then scream those sirens and flash those red bubblers on the outskirts of town.
All for the sake of showing off!
Wonder what drives us to do such wrongful and foolish things? 8) 8)

Anywho...it would be a no-no back then and still a no-no today to construct a faux cop-scoot.
SO....DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!

However, an attached windscreen onto your stock screen might work :D isn't that what we see in the pics above?

Me too! we would pull the amber construction caution lights off their stands and use them to pull over old people at 3 am in the morning    Big fun! Old folks wouldn't fall for that these days... wait i'm old folk ;)
