Son laid down 2015 PCX, where do I get parts?

Post by TXpcx150 »

Hello, my son took the PCX out the other day and hit a patch of gravel. Long story short, he laid it down. It's a pearl white 2015 model. My question is, where is the best place to get factory Honda parts to repair it? Should I go to the dealer here in town or is there a website that others have used? I really like the way the bike was designed, seems like everything is split down the middle so all the parts I need are on the left side. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi and welcome aboard the forums! :)
Would you Please add your location to your profile so that we can answer your question. I'm pretty sure you would rather order replacement parts nearby vs far away.
You can follow my simple directions below to get that done.
Sorry your bike got damaged.
Thanks

I have never seen 2015/16 paint so I assume we are still using 2013 Pearl Himalayas White. It's a three stage procedure white/flakes/clear

I have purchased the products but never had an off yet so... no review experience here.

bikebandit.com has nexpensive parts. Be aware though that on the 2013 model you had to start at the back and work your way forward, removing both sides up to a point. It may be the same with the 2015 model. It is time consuming and takes a lot of patience. Get a Service Manual if you plan on keeping the bike. It will help you with a lot of things, such as valve clearance adjustment, variator, belt change, etc.

Thanks for location :P
If you're wanting to tool around or just get acquainted with your '15 PCX, here's a local online store where you can order a service/shop manual (the one Mel mentioned). I got mine here and so have others. Cheers!

You may want to check at your local Honda shop. Panels for a PCX are cheap. You can get all the panels for the whole bike for around $300.

Thought about that, I know the parts are cheap but not sure what Honda will charge me. It's not that many parts that got damaged. I counted about 3 body panels and the plastic air filter cover. Also the center stand punched a small hole in the metal rear cover.

Procaliber is the cheapest source I've found for online parts for those that don't have a dealer nearby.

Also the cheapest source for the OEM rear box & mount I've found. I've been debating ordering one for a while now. I don't care for the look, but I really want the increased storage capacity.
