New PCX Owner, TX

Hello All,
I have been cruising this forum everyday for the past 2 weeks learning so much about the PCX. I purchased my 2013 PCX exactly 2 weeks ago with only 400 miles on the clock. First thing that I did when I arrived home that same day was change the oil. The scoot was originally purchased in August of 2012(and I am sure it had the original oil still on board). There might be a lot of people who will scold me on this one, because I use Mobile 1 0W-20 on my car; that is also what I used with my PCX. Just changed the final drive oil today, but I ran to Walmart to get 1qt of 10W-30 full synthetic after all the threads I read.
The PCX is a great scoot and as so many people of wrote before.... "it is what it is" , and I think its awesome. I have about 12 years of scooter "motorbike" experience across southeast Asia, and have been riding for about 35 years. Hopefully I will be able to help out some and learn some more about the PCX.
Already have some upgrades on the way... NCY Variator Assembly "Golden Pulley", NCY Drive Face, and NCY 13G Rollers. The Automatic/CVT is my personal weak spot. I never drive anything auto so I have a lot to learn about the PCX Tranny.
That is my introduction and hope to post more soon, but I doubt I will make it to the 1,000 post club.

Good to see you on the forum, tcpcx13. Whereabouts in TX are you located? I am from Big D originally, though now living far to the north. Also all-Honda, with a 2015 PCX and a 2002 Accord.

Your PCX looks just like my 2 did just before I started replacing the seats, windshields, added a Givi Tail Box, and a few other things. The NCY stuff is waiting to be installed, though I have already installed the 13 gm rollers in my bike and am quite happy with them.

I am from a little farther down South, here in San Antonio. Lived in St. Louis for a while, but happy to be back to the TX winter although the TX summer is brutal. I have been interested in the PCX since it came to the USA, but could never find a good deal on a used one. Good thing that I waited because I really lucked out on finding this one. The lights, seat, and larger gas tank are really nice on the 2015+ but I would have ended up paying double.

I am looking into a new seat or seat cover, still have not decided which route I will go. Also, looking into the different storage options, saddle bags or tail box. Are those "fog lights" down there on your front forks? I am really surprised at how well the stock PCX lights up the road when I flip on the brights, but having more light would be great.
