It's Super PCX

(this video is obviusly flawed but it tells the tale)

I could not figure out how to embed the video so I posted a link. In a while I will post some pics of the procedure by which my little old PCX got a big new sound.

Awesome! you are fully recovered from your spills and tweaking your scoot... what a man, what a man.

To embed a YT video delete everything in front of AND including the (=)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= jxLljLe1Ry8

highlight the juberish that remains and click on the [youtube] tab above found in a typical post reply text block

Yes, I have pretty much recovered from my last slide and drag lowside. But I am still limping a bit. I have added a new horn and a bright yellow windbreaker to my riding gear, so my hopes are high to avoid that sort of baloney in future.

Thanks for the embedding tip. I will put it to good use exactly now.

A little team help goes a Loong way! :P I love that! Nicer to be Nice!

flyingzonker, congrats on getting back on your scoot. Doesn't it feel good? Like home.
Hope the healing process speeds up for you, take it slow still...kay?
In the meantime, we'll patiently wait to learn how you installed your louder horn. It Sounds spot on!
Please make mention of it's brand as now it appears to be a secret :D (shhhh.....)

Cheers to the added hi-viz!

!
The horn is a Stebel Nautilus.

I will surely post some pics of the procedure in the near future. It's not difficult to hook up--but getting to the requisite places to do the requisite things to get to the old horn, disconnect and remove it, uncover the battery, find a place for the relay (easy), find a place for the new horn (hard), and get all the plastics back on properly--que pena! (do I need to translate?)

But, after everything was done, upon hearing the two toned clarion blast when I pushed the horn button--What bliss!

Provided you're a member of the High Rollers Club, OK. If not, forget about it.

If there were such a thing as a clip-on airhorn, do you think I would have pulled my machine apart-from stem to stern- trying to find a place for the standard version?

 Well that's the crack pot option WN, I missed that the first go round
It's like the makers had the solution to a simple horn upgrade but then smoked some crack and went off with that retro as seen on wacked TV beach cruiser bicycle bell design... just goofy!

yes that will amaze my friends... even in the asylum

I think this one might be a better aternatve to a bulky airhorn:

In addition to my PCX, I have a Honda Reflex 250. The above is what I have in mind for it. I donT think a relay is necessary with one of these.
