I have an indicator that I sometimes plug into the accessory port I installed. Mine reads 14.5 v most of the time, but that is straight off of the battery so it is not regulated.

My battery is about 4 yrs old and is tiring , but when I am running it shows about 14.5 so there is ample voltage for accessories FYI. This is hard wired off the ignition so it only is on when the ignition key is turned on.Works nicely and fits in the dash nice too.
