Coolant?

I have a 2013 PCX 150.
I've seen a few threads about different mixes of coolants while my owner's manual simply says to use a high quality ethylene glycol coolant recommended for aluminum engines at a 50-50 mix.
I live in NE Texas with plans of moving farther south, so high temps are common, but extremely low temps are not.
Should I be worried about what to use or just follow the user's manual?

Follow the users manual and use the correct coolant.
Using the wrong coolant can cause blobs of jelly to clog your engine up killing it stone dead.
And it will drop your sperm count too.

Whichever EG-based coolant you choose, make sure it's silicate-free and you're good to go.

The only discussion I've seen on this forum involving different coolant ratios was in reference to engines with a big bore kit. If your engine is stock, follow the manufacturer's recommendations. Best bet, if you're not a mechanic who specializes in tweaking motorcycle engines, follow the specs in the manual and don't try any funny business with your engine.
