Local dealer has a new 2015 PCX150 in white, for $2999 (USD), including freight and prep. Sounds like a good deal to me.

2015 for $2,999? that's a good buy to me! Add tax, reg, license and Roll away on a White!
Model years 2015 and 2016 have an MSRP of $3,449
The $3,449 does Not include tax, license, registration, $320.00-destination charge and dealer installed options (+ other possible fees they may toss in).

I'd take it in a flash and keep it for one of the kids/grandkids

They were taking 399 or 499 off the white and black ones back when I got mine, to make room for this year's colors.
Silly Honda people, white is the best color

Buy it..... If they had that price here in San Antonio I would buy it and have 2. I really love the white PCX.

Damn good question. My son waited two years past the minimum age to get his license.
I'm keeping my PCX for my daughter. She's eligible now (just turned 15) for a scooter license but she seems to be in no particular hurry to get it (scooter or license).
I was taking a drivers license test the day I turned 16. Kids these days!

I have a grandson who just turned 18 and has yet to go beyond getting a learner's permit, which has expired now. He has an old VW he is restoring, but no license to drive it. Makes no sense to me. I had a driver's license at 17. Prior to that I was in an orphanage that didn't allow driving. I left just before I reached 17 and went into the military. They expected you to have a driver's license there, and I was glad to get one. In fact, I bought a motorcycle in anticipation of getting a driver's license, and got the motorcycle endorsement shortly after I got the license. I would have expected kids these days to be just as excited as I was, but they aren't, for some reason. Maybe they expect us to act as their taxi forever??

Perhaps it goes to the mindset of the computer age..with big government trying to get people into urban transit modes and the driverless vehicle right around the corner, why take risks.Computers have made many complacent and lackadaisical and don't see driving as enjoyable , but rather a traffic hassle and a dangerous endeavor so they are taught. Easier to let someone else do the driving > I just don't know....

In most developed countries it is just more complicated getting on motorcycles as a youngster than cars.

Despite the perceived complexity its still much cheaper and easier.
Do a CBT and you're good to go.
Have you seen what car driving lessons cost these days?
And you need to have passed your full driving test before you can drive a car unaccompanied.
