My Forza Seach

I went to two local Honda dealers yesterday. First dealer didn't have a Forza in stock. The salesman there had his own opinion of scooters in general. He said the market for them is very low and they don't hold their value. He did try and sell me a Sliver wing that a customer returned because he could not ride it? I thanked him for his input and went on my way.
The second dealer, I went to had a 2015 in stock! The guy was very helpful and told me the ABS model was better for novice riders like myself. Although the one he had in stock was non ABS. He also had a used Wing in stock, same story the customer said the bike was too powerful for him and traded it in for a smaller scooter. I must say the silver wing in a nice bike. I just don't want a super-sized scooter! In any case the Forza Seems to be a rare bird in my area. Both dealers can order them thankfully!

I had the same problem here (central OK), and had to order the thing.

The market for the 125 Forza is huge, and that's why they're often not in stock. I've not seen any problems with 300s being in stock with my recent dealer visits.

Probably not in stock because they aren't a great bike or seller. Lots of better alternatives for the buck.
You sound a little nervous, why not try a few bikes rather than over thinking about things.

"Trying" seems to be really hard in my area. Test rides simply don't happen (at least on new units, and only maybe on something used). You can sit on them, but that is about it. When I took my Motorcycle Safety Course, I got to ride a 125ish something or other during a break, and that convinced me that a scooter would be just great.

This is basically what the first guy said. There is better bikes than the Forza for about the same price and not a great seller. I'm not one of those people with soft skin. I totally respect other's opinions, weather I agree or not. Although, its my money so at the end of the day.I can pat myself on the back, or kick myself in the butt with the bike I decide to go with.

Hello top ,
I owned a new 2014 Forza nonABS. GREAT scooter. Kept it 365 days. Loved it.
Own a new Burgman 400 ABS now.
My advice...look hard at a CB300F... $3999. $ave a bunch....Honda made....same size engine. Or look at lightly used Honda CB500X. ..etc.
Lotta more bike....same or less $ than a Forza and that will quickly drop to $3000 in resale/trade in value!!!
A lot of great two wheelers in the Forza price area.

Does anyone know how many Forza 300's have been sold in Canada? USA?
It was very expensive when it first came out in Canada. The price has dropped a few times.
I like my 2014 Forza 300 ABS but it is not a great scooter. The suspension is awful, it barely has enough power for the highway, the luggage compartment is a bad shape, the highway wind with the low shield hurts, the brakes are marginal but the ABS works, not great mpg but adequate, range is OK. Reasonably comfortable for a short person. Parts are expensive, too many recalls and my service people can't figure out how to get it apart. A rare bike in this area. No one has the factory recommended oil around here. The front forks are barely held onto the rest of the scooter. Steering is really vague.
I have ridden lots of different motorcycles and lots of miles. I like the concept of the Forza but it needs a little work to be good. I don't see it lasting for many years. Not a big seller.
The big four Japanese companies don't sell many scooters in the Vancouver area. Honda has the Ruckas 49cc, Giorna 49cc, PCX150, Forza 300. Kawasaki has none. Suzuki has the Burgman 200, 400 & 650. Yamaha has the TMax 530, SMax 155, BWS 125, BWS 49cc, Zuma 49cc, Vino 49cc.
I don't even know where Vespa is around here and BMW dealers are a pain in the ass (I think you need an invitation just to get in the door)
I typed that list so that I could see theoretically what is available. Very few of those models are on the showroom floors. I have never seen a TMax. The Burgman 650 is over $12,000 for a scooter, too much. The Tmax is also over $12,000. Which leaves the Burgman 400 at over $9000 as the one better than the over $7000 Forza.
I don't know if any of the Korean scooters are still sold in Greater Vancouver?
I am going to ride my Forza until it cost too much to fix. And then I am going to sell it for next to nothing to some poor sucker.

Take a look at one of the two Kymco 300 models.
Great Taiwan quality. ..bullet proof engines. ...parts avail. and not expensive to own or service. Read review s of them.

Virtually no dealers in the Vancouver area. I was at the one dealer I know of yesterday in Mission, BC. He is not really into selling scooters and the place was a complete mess full of junk.

Here's where I bought mine. It's in North Central Pennsylvania. They have some more brand new 2014 left overs for $2999

If I hadn't gotten a PCX 150, I probably would have gotten a Downtown 300i.
My only worry was that the only one I'd ever seen in this area was being sold on Craigslist, and the guy wouldn't even let me sit on it "for insurance reasons". He told me he'd start it up for me, but I couldn't touch it until I bought it. Apparently, either something was seriously wrong with it, he was afraid I might put cooties on it, or that I would steal it. Naturally, I ran away as far and as fast as I could.
The local dealer offered to get one in, but I'd have to pay a deposit on it for them to do it.
Hence, the PCX.
