I bled my front brake today but it's biting on the pad pretty hard. While the bike is easy to move around and drives OK, with the wheel in the air it only rotates once when spun hard and then comes to a stop.

The brake itself isn't razor sharp and while it stops the bike it's still pretty spongy.

Any tips on how I can reduce the friction on my front wheel and get the brake feeling a bit sharper?

That's about normal really as far as the wheel spinning on hydraulic brakes. As for the sponginess, I'm guessing there's still air in the lines. Bleed it some more and tilt the handlebars so the master cylinder is tilted with the banjo bolt ent at the lower part of the tilt (turning the handlebars all the way to the left should accomplish this). Tap on the hoses while bleeding until all the air is out.
