Just wondering if anyone has tried the City Pro and if so how they compare to City Grip?

Not available in the corect size for the rear, only the front.
So a matched pair of City Grips in the correct sizes is the better option.

- 20 per cent more puncture-resistant than rival products.
- 10 percent longer lifespan than that of its competitors.
- new tread pattern delivers enhanced grip on dry, wet and slippery surfaces.
all good but I would like to know how much heavier it is since we are talking 150cc application.

Specs sounds like marketing speak - they need to provide proof and comparisons to 'real' tyres to mean anything - have they proved those claims?

They are competing with themselves here, might backfire if all lies

we already love the City Grip so much they risk huge credibility and lose overall sales if proven to be liars. You may be right, could be crap but I wish they listed weight specs.

Any tire that improves puncture resistance is better in my view especially for you guys that do excessive high speed riding on freeways and the like. Additionally, they tout better grip and life expectancy so the rubber compound is improved as well. A little more weight, perhaps , but if you value life and limb over a few clicks on the speedo the trade off is nominal.

Agreed... tires do make a big difference on the little PCX, you guys riding the IRC's have my appreciation. The stock tires are the bare minimum Honda could install to get you the fuel efficiency and make the claims. If I put those back on it might scare the hell out of me

I'm still one of those that have had zero issues with the stock IRC's in what is now 2yr's 365/yr riding - all weathers with heavy rain and flooded roads - but this is 30-4omph riding. Lots of people prefer the MCG's and they may be better, just can't call the stock tyres 'widow makers', 'crap', or other terms peope use, and the rear still has lots of life in it.
