Based on the glowing reputation of the Michelin City Grip, I purchased one to replace my worn out Dunlop rear tire.
See blog post for impressions.

Of course, I could have told you that it was better than Dunlop. My pcx came with Dunlop tires, which I replaced with City Grips after less than 1,000 miles. The City Grips stop better, hold better in the curves, and even ride better in the rain, though I try not to test them in the rain very often.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the new rear tire has even improved my fuel economy. I'll know better at my next fill-up. I still have a Dunlop on the front, which seems to have plenty of miles left on it, but when it is time, it will be replaced with a Michelin as well.

I thought others reported slightly lower mpg with the CG's (they are suppsoed to grip more after all). Not sure what I will change to when the time comes - still on original tyres and no problems.

I had City Grips on my old scooter and loved them,
but found that they wore out quickly in the heat here.
