Hello from Wasington DC Metro Area

This is my first ever scooter.
The Forza 300cc has exceeded my expectations.
I bought new 2014 for $2999 +$300 not two weeks ago.
I've owned everything else at one time or another though: enduros, cruisers, dirt-bikes.
Of all these bikes, I am finding that the Forza is the most practical urban commuter I have ever owned.
My new job requires me to pay $25 parking. Bikes are free though. Plus HOV lanes cut 40 minutes total each day off my commute.

Other than finding myself trying to foot-break/shift/clutch (muscle memory from years riding motorcycles) all the time, I am adjusting nicely to the scooter.

That's an awesome deal on the scooter. But was is that brown thing lurking in the distance there?

Here is a teaser picture of it (I was taking a picture of the Ebay-trunk mount for another post).
The Forza is nice and all, but she plays 2nd-fiddle to my other toys.

Hard to tell on my tablet, but looks suspiciously like the back of a 60s split screen Corvette.

Welcome to the forum, Pullin, and BTW I think you got a really good deal on the Forza.

Cheers,

Johnny

Good deal on the Forza. A couple of years ago I paid 2000$ for a 2007 Reflex--which is the bike that Forza superceded. I can only hope that you love your Forza as much as I do its predecessor.

I was going to jump on a nice 2007 used Reflex....but then I got this great deal on the Forza for close to the same money, so I bought it instead.

Hi,

Great find on that price! I live the the VoVa area and I'm looking for a leftover now. Would the place you purchased yours from happen to have another?

Thanks

Yes

However when I got it there was a $500 "Honda-Bucks" incentive.
Now it is $3499 (vs 2999) plus about $300 fees.

Gotcha! :( I called and spoke with a fellow by the name of Scott. He's rigid at 3500, still not a bad deal. Just a heart breaker to miss that incentive by a couple weeks. Like getting a free top box. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, $3500 is still a good deal.
FYI my new 2014 I purchased for $2999 did not need any of those recalls that the 2014 Forzas are known for.....also, the bike certificate-of-origin (used to get the title) had the manufacturing date well into 2015. Kind of odd.

Someone should buy Honda a calendar. My 2014 Forza was made in June 2013.

What is the proper way to tie down a Forza for highway travel on a trailer?

Use handlebar wraps and cinch your tie downs from there on the front. On the rear I just wrapped them around the rear wheel as there was no place to hook onto the scoot without damaging the tupperware.

As a previous reflex 250 owner, be glad you went with the forza. The reflex was nice but the forza is leaps and bounds better in ride quality and engine smoothness. Efi is also a plus
