Come ride with me

Post by honkerman »

I took a ride down one of my favorite roads today. You are welcome to join me on the ride.

It would be great if we could see your favorite riding road(s). Feel free to post your own video to this thread.

Nice ride! Loved all those 25 and 35 mph speed limits - perfect PCX country, and a great day.

Thanks, Paul.

My wife is from Pennsylvania (State College area) and we have gone back a few times. The country roads make for scenic riding, but deer jump out in front of you on occasion; you have to be really aware. One of our nephews was riding and ended up with an animal tangled in his tires of his HD. His mother has hit at least 4 deer with her cars. Insurance companies are not too happy with the wild life there. I think they should have mandatory safety classes for the deer there. They can all stand if they want, but they have to go through the class if they want to graze near the road, or cross the road. (There was actually someone once who complained to the editor that the deer crossing sign was at an inconvenient place and should be moved so that the deer would cross elsewhere :-).
Currently own:

I love River Road!!! Ridden it many times! We almost bought a haunted house on it in 2002. PA is a very under-appreciated state. Lots of very pretty/New England'ish roads when you go westerly from the coast. The last scooter I did River Road on was my Stella. A glorious experience!!

Thank you for taking time to post that great video!
