Longer, thinner handlebar end weight?

Just asking again, as I have had no luck my own self:

Has anyone found a decent replacement for the stock handlebar end weight that is both longer and thinner (smaller diameter)? Enquiring minds want to know.

Thanks,
Michael

Get some turned at your local machinists shop? Might just cost beer money.

It would be easier to buy some of the stock weights for a different bike. The trouble with most of the Honda weights is that the end that goes into the handlebar is not flat; it has a half-circle raised area that jigsaws into the fitment inside the handlebar. If I were going to do any machining, I would buy a pair of those and make the inside end flat.

But it would be far more useful to others on the list (especially others who want to fit tom Tucano Urbano muffs) to find a solution that is, as they say, "plug and play."

Thanks, Cypriot friend, but those won't quite do the trick for my application. First, they're horrendously expensive (are they made of gold), but second and more importantly, I need to change my weights out for winter riding; the stock weights are not terribly compatible with the muffs. Cf:

Note that the grommet that goes through the hand muff is affixed with the bolt that holds the handlebar end cap / weight in place. The wedge shape of the Rizoma and the lack of a through-bolt mean that it won't work for me.

Thanks, though.

Not joking, I got some made for the boxer cup by a friend of a friend that made hip replacement parts. Absolutely beautiful. Turned aluminium and a plastic slider. Cost one bottle of wine.

Ask around. I'll post pictures if you want they are a work of art.
