Battery replacement

I did it again. I left the lights on and now the battery does not charge enough to start. I did order a new battery from Amazon however am confused as to how easy is it to remove the old battery. I saw two videos and the first one showed that I only need to remove two nuts in the front facing (top of the battery) and the battery pops out. The second video seems to suggest that there are more screws than the top two. Please advice.

A 2013 has a protective cover in the storage area. If you also have the rubber retaining strap, it too has to be loosened. Then disconnect the leads, hot lead first. Once those are removed you should be able to reach in on both sides of the battery and pull it out. Note which side the positive lead is on so that you can put the new one in correctly.

On a 2015
Open the plastic access door
DO NOT REMOVE those two nuts you see above the battery by the fuse box or you will be very unhappy and have to take the entire bike apart to retrieve the bolts that fall behind the battery box.
Remove the POS and NEG cables and don't let the nuts under those bolts get away from you either.
Unhook the rubber strap and slide the battery out and put your new one in... reverse the above.
