Doesn't anyone over there have morals?! You don't steal a guy's PCX!! With all the other scooters out there, why not choose a Chinese knockoff?! I bet you will find it crashed and trashed. Some people just don't know how to be good.

I would be very unhappy, couldn't recover the accessories and upgrades from insurance. Very cruel thing and I'm sorry this has happened to you.
Chief say's he would take scalp

Every town, every street it seems has scum-bag elements these days.

soozy soo sorry to read this

It seems a lot of scooters (perhaps motorcycles too?) get stolen across the pond. Horrible awful people. Truly, I have the worst of words for them!
Have you reported it to the proper authorities yet?

All reported, the police have been very helpful but they said it's the 4th in that particular area to have been stolen this week, the other three have been found burnt out so I'm not holding out much hope. Its absolutely gutting that you work hard to have nice things and someone takes it for whatever reason. Hopefully the insurance company won't take too long and I can look at getting a replacement. Thank you everyone for your support, it really means a lot.

I'm so sorry! I had mine stolen recently and it's gut-wrenching.
The insurance companies here wait a while to see if it turns up,
so if the police find it burnt out, that could speed payment.

Yeah, the light weight of the PCX is a big benefit for thieves. 2 little guys can lift it very fast in the back of a van.

My PCX is scraped and mended (badly) in several areas--it looks like it has been rolled sideways down a mountain. I like it that way: less likely to be theft bait.

I know these little scooters can be picked up and put on a truck by two big guys but I have to wonder why they would go through all that effort just to burn them. Are they so bad (read STUPID!!!) that they spend all of their time thinking of bad things to do that are just dumb and could land them in jail? They need to get a real job and GROW UP!

How about some details, to know what happened, figure out how the theives were confident enough to do this wihtout getting caught, and how others here can avoid the same fate...
1. What time was it stolen ??? How long were you parked there ?
2. Was it quickly picked up and put into a van ?
3. How far from the house was it parked ?
4. Was it visible from the house ?
5. If it was a quiet residential street, I would have to assume they did not take the time to hotwire it and ride off ??

Quick update... Police have found the bike dumped about a mile away, as it's been in the elements for over 2 weeks there's no forensic evidence. The thieves have ripped the front plastics off and attempted to hot wire the bike with no success! Hetty is a write off. Managed to get an acceptable offer from the insurance compsny as I had plenty of service history and photos showing the condition of the bike. Waiting for the cash then go out and get another pcx!

Worth checking what you can buy it back for. Just saying....

UNBELIEVABLE... You did not even bother to read the responses in your own thread. Everyone that posted a response or tried to give advice just wasted their time on you.

That's a bit harsh. The poor bugger got his bike pinched and your having a go.
Maybe you mean he didn't go answer your forensic questionnaire about the theft.
Sounds more like it.
