I bought a givi sr1136 mount kit. I thought I was getting a trunk with it, but I am not a smart man. I now need to get a top box/trunk. I want to make sure I get something that is compatible with the kit. Perhaps some suggestions for top boxes that you think are good. Does it need a specific mounting plate that goes under it too? My scooter is a 2011 pcx 125.

Welcome to our forums I do not have a top box myself but many here do.
Would you please enter your location to your profile so we can help you as accurately as possible. Having a 125 PCX tells me you're outside of the U.S.A.
You can follow my easy directions below to get that done.

I just looked this up, and it says any Monolock case will work with it.
Make sure the case you buy comes with a mounting plate, too.

Shad 39 works very well for me. Considering my helmet does not fit under the seat.

I've used the 34 and the 36 which were both fine.

The 36 looked fancier, because of the metal decoration and the 34 is longer and narrower, so it's a tighter fit for my largish full-face helmet and anything else.
