So here we go, I've decided to add another personal touch to my beloved 2015 PCX.
Hoping this how to guide will be helpful.

Skill level 2 in scale 1-10
Ideal to have someone to help but doable on your own with no problems (just better to have a beer with someone lol)
Lets start with tools needed:
ratchet driver with medium extension 6" ideally
10mm socket
14mm socket
pair of adjustable pliers (also known as 5 holes)
side cutters
knife
copper grease
anything else you think could come in handy
Lets start taking exhaust off:
Two 10mm nuts underneath bike three 14mm holding it from side take plastic cover/guard off
I've cleaned pipe from surface rust as much as possible putting bit of copper grease on all bolts and nuts at the same time Ok so latest ebay purchase now this is when could've done with some help but wife was busy
start wrapping, keep it tight and put metal clamps at the same time - good luck
I've put two metal ties at the beginning and two at the end to be on the safe side And place back on bike, well happy with final result More mods to come.

Looks God but I think I would have given it a coat of paint first.

I did the same with my MT-01, Used the same tie wraps, lasted 6 years so far.

Did yours also used to smell after wrapping? If so for how long mate. I can now smell that burning in or bedding in every time I stop at lights for longer than 2sec lol

Can't say it did but it is under the seat. I find my bikes tend to smell in winter, whether this is due to what I wash it with or crude off the road when wet, it's of no concern. The wrap may hold the water spray longer and therefore smell a bit more.

Hi, it looks good! Did you use 1" wrap? Heat in=Good.

To each his own .....I'd much rather have flat black hi temp paint on the pipe.

No it's not. The exposed pipe provides a lot of cooling to the exhaust valve. You really want to move as much heat from that as quickly as possible.

It's a fashionable cosmetic "race" modification. Nothing wrong with that but let's be honest about it.

I had solid gains on the dyno after wrapping a high strung 4 cylinder's exhaust header. Plus the thickness of the stock piping is substantial so cooling all the way to the exhaust valve is negligible at best. AND I have 2" volcanic based wrap lying around somewhere and thought why not as my stock pipe looks like new...and just so naked

Oh have fun! Let the man have his wrapped pipe Sometimes we get a sense of satisfaction from just doing. I have a fiberglass phobia since my attic insulation job. I'm itching just looking at the pictures

That's the beauty of the volcanic based stuff...no itch!

Ok, question for those in the know. Is there a bottom aero panel in some markets behind the plastic? Sure appears to be attachment points there.

May work on fabricating one out of aluminum to keep debris from hitting the wrap/exhaust.
