Hi,

Long time no post. Still enjoying my scoot!

My 2011 19,000 kms stutters at slow speeds with passenger. I think it's probably time for some new rollers and a belt. Is that right? What do I need to do to this scoot?

Assuming I need rollers, what are the best rollers for the money and performance?

Thanks

Before you tear down I've felt the shutters a couple times since purchase and within only 5000 miles on the odometer. Knowing there was nothing wrong with my drive train as I have had it apart many times experimenting with belts, vario kits and different weight rollers may I suggest you do what I did to smooth things back out.

Take it out and ride the hell out of it! Wide open throttle (WOT) Rev the crap out of it. I attribute shutter to the shoes in the clutch. It may well be variator/rollers or belt but in my opinion AND in my success with fixing light shutter on take off try this before you tear down.

I recommend Homie's suggestion. I had a bit of stutter on take-off in the evenings, but not in the morning for some reason. I did a couple of hard take off from a stop, like if it was a drag race, and it seemed to of reduced the symptoms. I can't notice it as much now. My scoot has 10200 miles.

thanks guys. the Italian tune-up and some fresh gas seems to have sorted it.
maybe it was old winter gas or not being ridden much over the cold months.
