Arg! How are ya'll removing them?
Today's WN's turn to get inspected. That means another inspection sticker.
Wazz that?
In NYS all vehicles, including motorbikes get inspected yearly (except for 50cc and under). The law abiding proof of this being done lies in DMV's inspection sticker that gets placed on the lower left fork by an authorized NYS inspection agent/station. Today's sticker will get placed Over the previous years of stickers. For me that's 3 years worth (one ontop of the other).
Today I want to remove the "pile up" before the new one gets placed. Last years sticker was placed poorly and was peeling from one corner from the giddy up (the stickiness was gone).
TODAY! I want them off!! What are your suggestions before I go? (No, I will not ask them to do it....I'm not a gluten for punishment).
Thanks peeps

WN, I totally appreciate the problem. We don't have that fee here yet so i'm no help sir. I can tell you to watch out because I did a similar compulsive behavior with the tollway pass generator by painting it black so as not to clash with my vehicle (the idiots make them a sick, puke off white color). When I went to exchange for fresh one because battery I had to pay twice as much for painting it
booooooooo

Use the hair dryer to get the main part off. Then get the sticky part off with Goo Gone.

Well. . .now we know. Razor blades work great on glass but on paint I can see where heating them up with the hair dryer would be a good way to go. . .with attention to detail to protect the paint finish.

gluten?? Oh "that" is funny!
At'll show ya that I rarely if ever use "that" word. Which word? Neither word! Gluten or Glutton!
But now that you brought it to my attention,... Glutton it is (and should have been).
So thank you...

oh tolerant one,
(this red facial color I seem to be experiencing is not very flattering
)

To Everybody that came forth to help, I much appreciate it, thank you!
I grabbed a hairdryer, wd40, some other can of goo remover, shop towels, garbage bag and gloves. I was set for battle. Guess What?? it was ALL OVERKILL!

I laughed out loud as I picked the sticker's lifted corner and pulled the layers off - all in one.slow.swoop.
Holy Smoker's! It was Just that Easy!!
Another case of over-thinking a simple task. Geez, I feel that red face coming on again
Then off to shop we went and WN's annual inspection was completed for a whopping fee of $6.00.
We then rode and we shall ride again tomorrow. Life's a biotch
Cheers me Hooligan's!!

I will guarantee you that if you had not done overkill with having the hairdryer, liquids and towels ready, those stickers would never have come off so easily.
