It's not. Take back to the dealer.

Definitely take it to the dealer. Those are suppose to be sealed units, with the only access being where you change the bulb.

Maybe give them a call first in case they need to order parts?

So what was the outcome? Did the dealer help you or did the water just eventually dry out?

It's generally on the outside. UV attacking the plastic lens. Didn't happen in our day of glass headlights.

Mind you toothpaste and a cloth or mild rubbing compound on a DA sorts it.

				I've had success using Flitz.
http://www.flitz.com/flitz-polish-liquid/
Rub it on. . .wipe it off. Dries to a quick haze. I've used it on plastic auto headlight covers with success. Check the manufacturers specs to see if you think it will work for you.

On my Santa Fe when the headlight cover started fogging g up I took it to the dealer. They tried to rub it out using some special stuff meant for that problem. It didn't work that well so they just replaced it.
That was the advantage of their great warranty. Not many other manufacturers go beyond 36,000 miles. Theirs is 5 years or 60,000 miles bumper to bumper, and for the engine, drivetrain and transmission it is 10 years or 100,000 miles.
Otherwise, you get to try rubbing the *fog* out of it. :-)

				Water in headlight...?
Drill a small hole at the bottom to let it out.

The headlight was most likely not sealed correctly at the factory. Glad to hear that your issue was solved.
