Recently got an Optimate 4 charger to keep the battery strong for when I dont get to ride during colder weather. Seems a decent charger with many lights to tell you what it is doing and state of the battery.

Comes with a lead you attwch to battery. You can buy additional leads for any other bikes you may have. I also got the power socket attachment I can use to charge phone or power satnav.

I have a Battery Tender Jr. It works great, but only has one LED to tell you battery status.

Maddie you dont really need much more than what you have to be honest and for 6 years i had a very simple charger which i gave away with the last bike i sold. Was just looking for an excuse to get this model as have wanted for a good while :D but at the end of the day it is only a battery charger!

I just picked up the Optimate 4.

Ironically, I bought it for my pcx but it's just good enough for my Honda Civic battery and that was starting to have some issues.
So far it charged up my car battery pretty well.

I'm thinking if it extending my car battery another 3 years, it's paid for itself.

Good choice... I also got the plug in power socket that attaches to lead coming from battery. Very handy it is too
