Replaced the left front side panel, the part the blinker is attached to. Looks great compared to the busted panel I replaced. Now I have a rattle and vibration sound somewhere in that front area when I Rev the engine. Everything fit together nicely. Didn't have any screws left over so I know everything is attached where it should be. Any tips on how to stop this? Any concern related to this? I don't want to take it all apart again. I assume over time it will be stop. Thanks.

It's often the black plastic piece beneath the screen. ..Ride the scoot up to the speed where the sound is at it's worse, place fingers between screen and aforementioned part and push..does the sound go away?

Checked a little closer at that area. I have a national aftermarket screen so it was easy to see. The seam between the shiny black and matte black parts above the speedometer and was popped loose. Popped it back in place. Seems more secure. Checked for buzzing. Didn't find any. We shall see if that fixed it. Thanks.

I have a 2013 model that developed a rattle after I put a new tall Givi screen on. I found out that for some reason the "V" shaped collar pops loose on one side when the vibration gets high enough. Still haven't solved that problem.

by you you
I know this is a longshot but I had a plastic rattle that I couldn't chase down.
Turned out the exhaust had worked loose.

It is the black plastic piece beneath the wind screen. And it is still happening. Doesn't affect anything other than my nerves! Only happens around 10-20mph. above or below that, it is nonexistent. I know it is that part because I rode a couple miles without that part. No noise. Didn't look good or I would have left it off.
Still has the buzz but only occasionally. Seems like sunlight and heat has something to do with it. Plastic expanding and rubbing I guess. In the morning it is usually quiet but it sits in the sun most of the day while I'm at work. Notice it more on the way home. No big deal to me.
I do enjoy tinkering on this scoot so more posts and searches probably coming soon. Thanks.

My dash cover pops loose on hot days too. It is easy to pop back in, and I have no idea why it pops loose at all. It only pops loose above the speedometer area. It won't come off, so it is just a nuisance.

Heat may be a big factor. Here in northeast arkansas, temps have been above average and humidity is awful. Tried to overcome that heat by taking off my aftermarket screen and using the stock one. Had forgotten why I bought the aftermarket screen! That didn't last long. Strangely though I didn't hear the buzzing with the original screen. Maybe because of wind noise or I was just too focused on not getting blown off the back of the bike.
So I just deal with it. Keep the pcx upright and park where people can see you (not directly behind your other vehicle!) and you won't have to replace body panels!

Ok so here's what I did, get 2 small pieces of high density foam, about 3" long and about 1 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" thick, I used the foam packing out of a PC graphics card box. Now stuff them between the screen and the black piece, 1 on either side, use a ruler or something thin if you need to push them down. Solved my buzzing problems
