I am sure it is in some past post, but I am new and short on time....so....
stored 2013 Pcx 150 all winter, had batter tender on battery all winter. Battery has charge. All fuses good. NO IGNITION or anything lighting up. Was going to buy a new battery, but it shows good charge. I might have done something too smart for myself last October. I need to ride my scoot. When I pressed the kill button I got a slight noise coming from under the windshield area??? HELP!!!!

I’d start with removing the leads at the battery posts, lean the posts, reconnect and then see what happens.

what does "lean the posts" mean?? I have connected/disconnected at least 6 times. No power. Nothing lighting up.

Well if the battery’s good and the terminal connections are good and you’re turning the key fully not part way and nothing works - not instruments not starter not horn - then off with the body to start chasing the wiring from the battery terminals on - until a loss of continuity is found (hot side or ground) or a bad switch or fuse is found or whatever. At least that’s what I would do.

If you are getting absolutely nothing, I would focus on a bad ground. You could try a multimeter with positive at the fusebox to see if anything is hot when the key is in the "on" position, but I think you are in for a voyage beneath the tupperware.

Is this a 5 yr old battery?
Scoot running fine, NO issues when you last rode it?
I mean absolutely running perfect last Oct when you parked it?
Parked in a dry place?
Yes to all above?
I'd put in a new battery.

Some of the things I make sure of before I starttrouble shooting electrical are part of the normal start procedure.
Sidestand up.
Key turned completely to the right.
Brake lever held closed.
Press start switch while giving it a little gas.
If all of this is done and nothing happens...not even lights on dash coming on then first try jump starting. If nothing then, time to take panels off. Maybe a mouse got in??

fish and springer1 are on the right track IMHO.. sounds like an electrical issue - either the battery or wiring is dead

How old is that battery?? Some do not last very long. Change it.
I have two 2013 models and have changed their batteries once on one of them and twice on the other. No big deal.
If you want one quickly it might cost more than buying online.

So, what’s the finding? Was the side stand down, or the battery dead after all ..... or .... ?
