DIY Zuma 125 600 Mile Maintenance Service

As I just clocked over 650 miles my flashing "Change Oil" reminder light let me know in no uncertain terms it was time to get my 600 mile service done. Better late than never I say. . .. 
The pics below aren't as good as a "Homie" video but it will give inquiring minds a good idea of the relative simplicity of the Zuma 125 maintenance items:
Only 3 screws to remove and the front panel engine cover comes right off to get access to the spark plug or valves.
The oil drains easily by just removing the oil plug and washer.
The spark plug was easy to get to and remove. It was burning clean and the 0.028 inch gap was within the recommended spec.
The valve covers come off with 3 bolts each. The intake valves are on top and the exhaust valves are below. The intake were good at 0.006 inch and the exhaust at 0.008 inch. That is the upper end of the spec tolerance but the gaps have a tendency to close up as the valves become more seated in over time so I anticipate that the factory set them loose to begin with for that reason. That said the feeler gauge was not sloppy. . .more to the snug side. The exhaust valves were tougher to do because of having to use a mirror and the light wasn't the best. Awkward but doable. It won't take me as long next time.
Kind of a small mirror but it's a small space.
The oil screen assembly was easy to get too. I had already drained the oil so there wasn't that much left to drip. I found a weird piece of debris. . .kind of looked like gasket adhesive or something.
Drained the final drive oil and replaced it with 4.5 oz of Pro Honda HP4M 10w-30 oil (same as I used in the PCX).
Took it for a test ride a couple of miles and it ran great. Tomorrow in the daylight I'm going to check the oil level again. I added just a bit under the .85 L recommended 10w-40 so as not to over fill.
There's other stuff I'm going to check on it also but that was enough for today. . ..
