I saw some pumps at Quick Trip that offered regular gas without ethanol as an option. I wonder if they will continue to offer that after the increase in ethanol.

As a boater, E85 is a nightmare. There is not an engine out today that will drink the stuff (TTBOMK). In my state, you cannot get "pure" gas.

I hate politicians and back room deals.

It looks like E15 can't be offered for sale during summer months due to it's evaporative volatility? Around here they sell E10 all year, so we get the benefit of decreased fuel economy all year as well. Which means we have to use more gasoline.
Isn't there some correlation between burning more fossil fuels and generating more pollution?
EIA ethanol FAQ

It's not recommended for motorcycles!
DOE E15 info

Surely a coal-powered engine is being developed as we speak!

Been using E10, 95 octane, on my PCx ever since.

My brother-in-law works on steam powered motorcycles (not a lot of business though) and I have to wonder what they burn to get the water to boil. Maybe that is the solution. Who gets to stoke the fire? I nominate the kids. :-)

I’m working on a diesel wristwatch. Just need the funding.

What are the emissions requirements for jewelry/accessories? Just don't accept any offers of help from VW. ;)
If you're quick enough to market, an ethanol-powered wristwatch might be a better seller right now.

I read somewhere that farmers are exempt from using the ethanol blend because the farm equipment won't run on it. Maybe gas stations in farm country don't have. We use to ride out into the country to find gas stations that had "clean" gas. Hopefully we can still find them.
