Oil in cvt housing

Hi, I have had oil leaking from the drive belt housing on my 2015 pcx for some time now.Yesterday I changed the drive belt, when I removed the cvt cover it was lagged in engine oil. Once I had removed the pulley itself the oil appeared to be entering from around the pulley shaft itself. It is definitely engine oil as it is from the front shaft and I have checked the transmission oil. Does anyone have any ideas, is there an oil seal or gasket? Any help would be much appreciated..

Not good.

Just to be clear its coming from the crankshaft/variator end rather than the final drive/clutch end?

Did you recently do an oil change or add oil? - overfilling will cause this.

If it is just an oil seal - fairly common issue and not so hard to deal with.
