Mirror Stem Extenders

Does anyone else here have problems with the stock mirrors on the PCX being able to get decent visibility? Or is it just me? I find they have to be bent as far on their stems nearly as vertically as I can get the stalks for me to get any sort of vision.

I am an average height of just over 5ft 9.

Has anybody used Mirror Stem Extenders? I was thinking of buying them to see if that alleviated the problem.

I've thought about it being 6”5 and being built like a brick outhouse. But wouldn't they cause more mirror vibration?

Buy some and tell us if they work?

I use them on non stock mirrors; you need 10mm with one side counter threaded. Get some vibes when idling but OK when going. I use the idling stop anyway so only get vibes for 3 seconds till motor cuts!

I guess the most "factory" thing would be to get some longer mirrors from another honda. Has anyone tried that?

I am an inch or so taller and I set mine so that depending on road position one of the mirrors will give me a clear view of what's behind me. I have not have any joy trying to get a decent view from both at the same time.

Ive had them, mine were chrome. Never had vibration issues and rear visibility improved dramatically on my aftermarket mirrors, but cheap chrome looked tacky and (guess what ?!) cheap after a while. Black on the photo may fare better.

I've got a pair of black ones on order from eBay. Only really wanting to lift it over my shoulders and have room to narrow them a touch.

Have you considered getting some generic fairing-mount mirrors and putting them up front on either side of the instrument panel? I've considered that for more visibility, just haven't gotten to it yet. :)

Rather than mounting on the PCX fairings Im thinking of mounting them low down on my Ermax screen as be easy to install and if I sell the bike and folk dont like to mods they can go back to the stock screen!

Doesn't fairing mounted mirrors make the width if the PCX excessive to lane split?

No traffic here in Taz so lane splitting is not done ;)

I had these installed by the dealer during my first service, no issues and improved visibility beyond my shoulders. Only issue I have now is filtering through London traffic if I hit two vans left and right, their mirrors hit mine and I get stuck for a minute.

Just wiggle through, lean over to left to get right mirror past then lean over to right to get left mirror past. Simples.

Or bend their mirrors out of the way with your fist

Or remove your own mirrors completely.
F'ing useless things.
