After having my email address cancelled by my ISP on Jan 19th for no reason and having to set up new addresses for all my accounts, and not being able to access my old username JohnL on the forum, I have rejoined under a new name. It's frustrating losing all my old PM's and messages I've posted over the last 3-4 years, but at least I can comment once again.

Just wondering if there is any way to link to my old messages and PM's?

I don't know if there is a way, but even if there is, us Mods don't do it. It would need to be done by our forum owner, maddiedog (aka Dave). If/when he gets on, maybe he will see this a be able to respond more definitively.

Well dang I've heard that happen to a handful of members over my forum years here and yonder. It sucks (scusi). In fact I lost a few hundred posts myself (instead of all of them), go figure! Yeah I was mad. It never got resolved by the forum owner. Happened to others around the same time too. Those posts lost were history for the group of us. Odd, and a Shame.
So tell me OldJohnL how's your 2015, I mean '16 (?) PCX rolling these days? What color is it? White or...?
Did you move? maybe that's why this happened to you? Where are you now? How's your weather?
Anywho, glad your back!

Hi WN, It's good to be able to post once again, I have my old email address back after 46 days of dealing with Oz's largest telco Telstra. In this time I have made numerous new friends in the Philippines and India, spending literally hours on the phone with them. Even though I have the address back I still can't access my old posts due to the weird way this group is set up, and my bad memory (can't remember which password and email address ai used attempting to gain access. My 2015/6 is going great (it is a Honda), still red, about due for a replacement belt. Weather in Queensland has been hot hot hot, we broke all existing records in February. I'll fix up my location (forgot) :-)

We're alive and kicking in this hottest summer ever. I haven't ridden much lately because of hot weather and WIND. I hate strong wind. Still working with Maddiedog to get my old posts back.
