Nice to be on the road again this morning. 32°F.

Only my 4th decent cup of coffee this year!

Indeed. First ride of the season today - mid 50's when we went out. Did about 30 miles on the Forza - absolutely great to get out again. Some sand and gravel in the corners of the really little back roads, but you can't really go that fast in those corners anyway. Slow, steady, and pretty much upright, and good to go.

I had all the intentions of riding yesterday because the weather as beautiful. Unfortunately, because I have to face my pain specialist today, knowing that the meds will be lowered again, I had to try to get as much done as possible yesterday. I still didn't have enough time to finish everything on my list... or rather, my wife's list. (Is it just me or do those lists just never seem to get smaller?)

I was pleased and pleasantly surprised when I went to see my doctor. He had heard about conflict with the PA, and it seems that others have complained too. So he saw me in person and we decided that when the time is right, weather wise, we will sit down and work on lowering my meds on MY time table.
Now I don't need to worry about being able to ride. Yes! Warm weather is here. Now if only the afternoon thunderstorms would settle down.

I saw the national weather report yesterday about those storms down south. Heavy duty hail in some places . . ..
Good that things went well for you at the Doctor's. Now you can look forward to getting some miles on that PCX soon!

Congratulations Mel, it's good to know there are some compassionate humans still left in the system. I have some similar problems but my sweet little doctor understands and will work around the system when she can.

I took my bike out yesterday for a short run to the store. While out I noticed that my tires were low and my air horn stopped working. One of my auxiliary lights switches was sticking too. Just sitting in the basement for the winter is not good for it. I will fix these shortly. Lots of projects to do, now that Spring is here.

Glad to hear you got out on the PCX for a bit but not surprised about the tire pressures. Good luck with the light switch and air horn rework. It's always something. Hopefully it will just be some connection cleanup . . ..
