Does it look like I'm due for new brake pads?

Can't tell if I'm due for replacement yet or not. Look like pad may be getting a bit thin. Also how do I tell when the drum needs replaced? Mileage is 5500 btw. No idea if brakes have ever been done on the bike.

There should be a mark or line on the rear casting toward which the rear actuating lever of the drum brake mechanism will indicate the acceptable limits of the brake shoe material.
Most owner's manuals will have an image of this for the owner.

As fish stated, but I also answered this a few days ago and posted a link to a users manual (not sure why so many people do not seem to have one)

You will replace rear brake shoes many times before you ever need to worry about the drum (which is part of the entire alloy wheel).
Front brake pads can get down pretty close to the metal assuming they are wearing evenly. So just watch for them to have couple of millimeters of material before metal to metal contact. Yours look almost new.
