Hi All,
I have bought a 2019 Forza 300 and have just done my first week commuting, The bike is great for commuting but Im a heavy bloke and i put a zip tie around the front fork leg and it seems like it uses all its travel, possibly bottoming out on the crappy roads i use, would aftermarket springs be better or will a heavier oil be all thats needed and where could i get them from in the uk?. Does any one what oil is in the front forks or the centistoke weight, and could anyone tell me the torque values for all the bolts on the front suspension including axle please.
Thanks for any advice.
Mark

First off, how heavy are you fully dressed ready to ride?

I have a very early 2014 Forza 300, Vin ends in 000098. It was bottoming out with gentle riding. There was no oil in the forks from the factory.

I had heavy oil added and it became a completely different scooter.

Check you oil??? Or probably have it changed???

But how heavy are you?

Hi, Im about 108kg (238lbs), rear is on setting 3 which is firm but new so may give a bit, the front feels ok but may not like the odd pothole, but i did change the fork oil on my last bike and it was a lot better. I go of the centistoke reference not the weight on the bottle so would need to know whats in there first.
thanks

For the 2014 the recommended fork oil is Pro Honda Suspension Fluid SS-8 (10 W).

http://bmwmotorcycletech.info/ShockOilComparo.pdf has the centistoke info.

7.38 @100C
35.48 @40C

BUT THIS IS FOR THE 2014 FORZA 300.
