Re: Yamaha MT 125
Yep the cost of those MT Bikes are a bit steep, as you said gn2, especially for a 125, fair enough they look nice but too expensive for that small CC.... going to wait until my second Service is done next week and then put the PCX up for sale, put the stock Exhaust back on yesterday, went out on it ...

Re: New Red Honda PCX
Anyone know the part number or where in the UK I can get the rear fender thing......
I forgot to take my chain/lock off the rear wheel today and revved the Bike to see if the stock Exhaust I put back on was ok...
and the chain got caught in the wheel and snapped the plastic fender.

Re: Yamaha MT 125
My rides are for pleasure only, as I work from home so now and then I go out for a ride, I don't go on long trips etc or back and forth work and so on.

Re: Yamaha MT 125
YBR seat is higher than the PCX, also in length as well... I might just stick to the MSX, considering I REALLY like that Bike, just need to find someone where I can either part exchange, or sell my PCX to someone... Regarding the LeoVince Exhaust, could I use that on the MSX but obviously just buy t...

Re: Second Service
I bought a thread tapping kit, the biggest in there is m12 though, I was told that if you use it then you have to make the actual hole bigger? so i'd need a bigger bolt... i'm not sure on the current bolt size (its the stock bolt) as it's been raining so I haven't been able to check the Bike, big if...

Re: Yamaha MT 125
I need something small/low as i'm only 5'5 and don't weight that much either, I also need something small as to park it into my garden every time, I have to stop and reverse a bit and turn and squeeze etc, that's why I thought the MSX would be perfect, but with my Dad selling me about the MT and obv...

Yamaha MT 125
My Dad just mentioned the Yamaha MT 125 Bike to me, as I told him I want to get a geared Bike to try and obviously start getting used to that before I do my full test.. I was originally wanting the Honda MSX, but checking dimensions for the MSX and the MT, there isn't that much difference, but cost ...

Re: Second Service
Totally forgot i'll need to get a thicker bolt if i'm going to tap the thread!! not sure what the size of the one is now, Bike is going in on the 20th, not sure whether to just put the old Exhaust back on and just say there is copper/steel strips and LocTite in there due to taking the Tax Disc off a...

Re: Second Service

Re: Second Service
Starting to get annoyed with it actually, the fact the noise wasn't there when I first had it, never had this issue with the 2013 model, when I first had this 2014 one the rattle wasn't there, it's gradually getting worse, the fact the Honda Dealers admitted to hearing it too and tried to 'fix' it s...

Re: Second Service
Bike didn't come with one, I used to have it in that position on my old Bike, but you can obviously put them wherever they can 'fit' and I usually had mine with the Exhaust bolt. The 2013 PCX I had was better, a lot more 'smoother' sounding, when I first had this 2014 model it was fine apart from th...

Re: Second Service
It's a plan they have for their own Customers... they were going to charge me £175 for the first Service and so on and so on (I think prices get higher as they go on?) or they have a Service Plan which is £399 for 5 Services and you then get a booklet with the 5 Vouchers in etc. Regarding the Exhaus...

Re: Second Service
I was told the strips and LocTite would work well, and it has, easy to do as i'm not mechanical at all.... and the strips and LocTite has made a real secure fit, so I didn't really think about the next Service at the time as I just wanted to see if the Exhaust would cover the rattle noise i've got (...

Re: Second Service
Wouldn't know how to do that, didn't think i'd get to 2500 miles to quickly after putting the new Exhaust on anyway, and the copper/steel strips and LocTite has been amazing so thought i'd been fine for quite a while, but obviously got to the 2500 mark quicker than I thought, STILL waiting for a ema...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)
I only need 20-50mph, mostly 30mph though. 20mph passed certain Schools I pass, 30mph on other streets around my area and 50mph on a certain road I go on, never had to do any more than that, when I eventually do my full Bike test and i'm more confortable with gears and ridinf overall then i'll get a...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)
Could of happened with the stock Exhaust... the same bolt is used from the stock, having to take the Exhaust off and putting it back on for whatever reason (change a tyre, brake pads etc) obviously just over done it when tightening, plus i'd rather have the louder Exhaust and a stripped bolt hole no...

Re: Honda MSX125 (Grom)
I'm getting depressed lol i've been looking at peoples Grom photos on Instagram as well, liking the mods you can get for it, not that i'd get much and I love the way they look already, but obv just new Mirrors and little things like dust caps etc. and i'd get the red/black one as all the stuff I got...

Re: Second Service
Bolt hole is stripped though (the top one) so going to be a pain as I don't want to leave a bolt out from there when they take it and just have the 2 bottom bolts in, meaning i'm going to have to get more copper/steel strips in there again... pain in the arse!

Re: Second Service
Can't even remember how many times i've emailed Honda, all they tell me is to take it to a Honda Dealers, i've just emailed them again now as I sent a message via their Website instead and asked them to reply back so I can then go into detail as they only allowed 500 characters, so they replied back...
