Re: Tired of Buying Tyres
OK now I'm confused, I have heard the same about putting a tube in a tubeless tyre before but had no problems when I did, tull I got another flat shortly after which is the problem in the first place. It is so frustrating I can't put it into words, 4 punctures in 12 months is just unheard of from wha...

Re: Tired of Buying Tyres
UPDATE - I have got the bike going in for a tube to be installed in the rear Tyre, with the amount of issues I have had in the amount of time I have had and the fact i cannot change my commute route much, I fear that if I go and buy the Michelin City Grips, which will be fine for a short period of t...

Re: First impressions
Id disagree to an extent on the putz comment, As the PCX looks so different head on to most other scooters, I have some big bike riders tipping their head down to have a look as they go past, as they are wondering what it is. I think the only thing that lets the PCX down on the looks front is how sk...

Re: Tired of Buying Tyres
Hi guys, thanks for you advice, as you can imagine it is so damn annoying the amount of times it has happened. Anything that stops me enjoying my bike infuriates me! I do agree with Mel64, it most likely is construction works as in Nottingham over the last 24 months there has been a lot! They are in...

Unspoken Law of "The Nod"
This post is a bit of fun, but thought i would share, I am a bit older than perhaps the average scooter rider, being 32 and all, there has been a few interesting and amusing things I have discovered riding in the UK. I have been riding for 18 months now, and here is my take on NOD LAW! Background - ...

Re: New PCX Owner - needs advice
@RichyP Thanks for the advice, I was planning a trip into Plymouth and tried what you suggested and it came up with lots of places to park, mostly for free too :D So it looks like it's just the smaller places that aren't very clear where you can park, most of the coastal towns / villages in Cornwal...

Re: Break in and increasing fuel economy
For a 2013, the last bar means you have .4 gallon remaining. Apx 40 miles to go. When the bar begins to flash, you have 20-30 miles remaining. I drove mine to empty one time and don't plan on doing that again. I found out that the size of the gas tank is exactly what it says in the owners manual. t...

Re: Break in and increasing fuel economy
With my previous Scoots on an analogue reading, i knew how long i could go before having to fill up (NOT that I would ever run my bike with not enough fuel mind) I get upto about 40-45 miles before I lose any bars on the digital fuel dash at all, then it decreases down to about 2/3 around 70-80 then ...

Re: New PCX Owner - needs advice
Hey Skooty, I have had my PCX for about 4 months now and I had the same question as yourself, especially if I had to travel into the city. I live near Nottingham and all I did was google where to park motorcycles in Nottingham. It brought up a google maps with all parking for bikes and even all the ...
