Re: Feeling sorry for the PCX 125?
I just purchased my 2011 125 new in April. I took the 125 because I wanted something relatively inexpensive and dependable to learn on (this is my first motor bike of any kind). I got it out the door for less than msrp because the dealer & Honda were offering incentives to clear out old stock. G...

Re: Honda NSS300 Forza
I've been hearing rumblings about the Burgman 200 coming to the USA. It recently got CARB approval. Depending on it's pricing it could really impact the sales of both the Forza and PCX.

Re: PCX150 Riding...
Thanks for your input on the two bikes Skuuter. Performance and comfort vs. economy. But if I looked as good on my PCX as you do on yours, it would be a no brainer--I'd keep the PCX forever! Seriously, I really like my PCX and the 100 MPG it delivers. If the 150 does have more punch with similar fue...

Re: PCX150 Riding...
Hi Skuuter. I didn't realize the performance gap was that large between the 125 and the 150. I've been leaning toward moving up to a Forza but maybe I should ride both the 150 and the Forza when it becomes available. Did your 125's hold their value well enough that you didn't take too bad of a beati...

Re: Summers here! (for a day.. in the UK)
I made a promise to myself when I got my MC license that it would be ATGATT for me. I rode today in 95 degree heat and my wife asked me if I was miserable. I was actually pretty comfortable. My mesh riding jacket is vented nicely and works really well at keeping me cool. If my shirt under the jacket...

Re: The Extended Warranty Question
sound too good to be true that you get an extended warranty but can get the money back if you dont make a claim. read the fine print very carefully! That's the way my dealer explained it to me. He also said that if you join the Honda Rider Club, they would reimburse a portion of your MSF course fee...

Re: Bike Maintenance
If that center stand should freeze up, I'd spray those lube points with some PB Blaster and let it sit for a few minutes. PB Blaster has unfrozen a lot rusted stuff for me over the years. It could even conquer salt water corrosion on my sail boat.

Re: Average fuel per bar?
You're just wasting paper. Around the fuel filler neck there's a rubber surround which connects to a hose. This arrangement is designed to channel all spills onto the ground. Yes, but here in the colonies you can go to prison for putting fuel on the ground. Just kidding about the jail part (I think...

Re: Hello Out There!
I also purchased my PCX just for fun rides and as a learner bike while introducing myself to motorbiking. But, I now "commute" 2-3 days a week to my "job" as a volunteer at the local SPCA. Even my "commute" is a fun ride though.

Re: Like these helmets?
Does the hjc with chin curtin fit under the pcx seat? Yes it does Taz. Mine is a size Large and it fits nicely facing forward with the shield down. The chin curtain inserts between the shell and the liner and really doesn't take up any space. Another nice feature is the additional sun shield that c...

But, the first time I put it on with the chin curtain (whic...

Re: Riding Tips
The opposite is true: better learn to ride a small capacity scooter first and then move on to something bigger. This is the path I have chosen. Although an avid bicyclist all my life, I rarely rode my bicycle in traffic at 55 mph. After the MSF course, I decided to get my feet wet on the PCX ...

Re: Bringing her home on Saturday!
I just noticed your lights. Do all non-U.S. PCX's have the turn signals integrated into the headlight assembly? Much better looking than the U.S. version and I don't see why it wouldn't be just as safe. Many cagers don't see us anyway.

Re: New member - planning to get a UK PCX125 - advice?
Hi Kevin, Like you, I am a novice rider and I ride a PCX 125. All I can tell you is that when I am riding on the highway, in traffic, at the posted speed limits of 55 or 60 mph, both my bike and myself are operating at the limit of our capabilities. That is NOT good. Yes, I can slow down to 50 mph b...

Re: Bigger GIVI Boxes - Wind issues on highway?
geezy - so you are saying that it did not get worse one you added the Givi? You get bounced around the same either way? Yes, but it could just be me being a novice rider. I live near the ocean and winds are pretty steady during daylight hours at 10-15 mph and gust to 20-25 mph. When riding at speed...

Re: Bigger GIVI Boxes - Wind issues on highway?
I get knocked around quite a bit by large vehicles and cross winds at speeds over 50 mph. It doesn't seem to matter if I have the Givi Box on or off the scoot. And, at 185 lbs., I'm doing my part to provide ballast. I accept that as just part of life on a sub 300 lb. scooter with the profile of the ...
