Re: Recall letter number five...?
I have done the pump change, and all servicing, myself. No big deal. The real problem is NOT the scooter itself, but the now generalized poor dealer service (they pay shit, don't even train their employees). Were it not that the bikes are that good from the start, the whole industry should be bankr...

It like that in the UK as well. Out of town shopping malls have killed small town centres. The place where I live has more charity shops than anything else now.

Re: You'll Never See These in the U.S.A. and Why Not?
I have seen the lemon (urine?) yellow one here in Bangkok. I don't like it. It would seem that the colour would stick out, but with taxis being bright colours, it kind of blends in. Someone's been taking his vitamins if that looks like urine. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) does wonders for that. ;) ...

Re: Fram short filter
Manufacturers do use makers of OEM parts but the specification of components used can be different. This is really obvious in manufacturers tyre specs. Pirelli for example produce a standard tyre of various sizes, but they also make different compounds for different companies. E.g. A Mercedes compou...

Re: Fram short filter
As long as the diameter and the threads are the same it won't make that much difference. Obviously the shorter one won't hold as much oil.
I prefer to use genuine filters as they are usually better quality.

Re: Break light
Tyre / tire , brake / break . It makes no difference. As long as we know what's meant it matters not a jot.

I've got one. You can get a DTC if gears are a problem.phantom309 wrote:have you concidered the honda NC750 ? as this is fantastic at lane splitting , has helmet size hole / storage where you would expect the petrol tank ,(that's under the seat) and very nice to ride... plus very good on fuel .

Re: swing arm
I would get helicoil kit. I've used them successfully before with no problems.
