Re: Honda PCX - Back from First Ride
I noticed at intersections, motor vehicle drivers wanted to yield me the right away even though they entered the intersection clearly before me. Is it common to vehicle drivers to yield regularly at intersections. I don't recall doing this very often as a driver. Congrats on the new bike! You'll lo...

How long you been riding?
I’ve been a little surprised at the number of “mature” riders who are swelling the ranks of scooter owners for the first time. Sorta made me curious how much experience/inexperience we have here. At what age did you buy your first bike? How many years have you actively ridden? How old are you now? L...

Re: Cable or Satellite for Best Customer satisfaction?
Cable provides us with internet and a landline. Don’t own a TV. Customer service sucks, but once it was up and running we’ve never needed to call them back.

Re: Today's Quick Pic
Difference between a labyrinth and a maze is that a maze is a puzzle with wrong turns and dead ends. A labyrinth is a single continuous often winding path to the center and back out. My only knowledge came from a neighbor who designed and installed them all over the western hemisphere. They can be a...

Re: Today's Quick Pic
Looks more like a labyrinth than a spiral. Labyrinths are designed as a path that you walk which leads continuously to the center of the design and then back out. Labyrinths are often used as a meditation tool. Not too often you see labyrinths in public places.

Re: ? for PCX150 owners
I've heard the SYM HD200 (171 cc) is quite the speedy little bike. But it's not fuel injected and there's practically zero dealer support which are the two main reasons that gave me pause. Then along came PCX150...redhandmoto wrote:SYM & Kymco have a few bikes I might consider, but there are no dealers around.

Re: ? for PCX150 owners
I typically cruise at 60, but have never been on the road more than about 40 miles at a stretch or 100 miles for the day. At 65 mph the 150 doesn’t even breathe hard. The factory installed limiters keep the bike running well within its capabilities. OTOH I’ve never pegged the throttle except once wh...

FWIW, a PCX in the US has a speedo calibrated accurately. Those sold elsewhere will be about 10% optimistic.

Re: How fast would you want to go on your PCX 125/150?
65 would be top speed for me on this feather. At first, cruising the freeway seemed stupid for such a lightweight bike, but it got so much easier with the windshield that now I always take the freeway if I can. I’ve had my 150 up to 68 mph, but never hit the limiter. Cruising speed for me is 60. Ab...

I also thought I might mount them on my windshield, but there is nowhere straight vertical to attach them. Got a set that is adjustable, but they don't adjust enough to give a good rear view.

Re: Convenience/bag hook
When I’m out and about I always lock the helmet under the seat. If I’ve been shopping, and the under-seat bucket is full, I hang the helmet on the hook under the seat. My chin strap is short, so I always have to use the strap that came with the bike to secure the helmet. Of course the hook is useles...

Check your local law regarding this. Some states make it legal to proceed as though you are at a flashing red.
