It's going to be a high of 35F tomorrow, and I can't *wait* to ride!

Of course, this might possibly have something to do with the fact that my ride will be BRINGING MY NEW '13 PCX150 IT HOME FROM THE DEALER. :-)

After that, I think it's going to live in my garage another week or three before I'm riding regularly.... LOL

Hit 61 today but is supposed to be about the low 70s pretty much all week. Did 47 miles on the Forza before it started sprinkling. There is sure starting to be a lot more of the Can-Am type three wheel bikes around here. I saw an entire herd of them today of older retirees. I think that is a good compromise for when it gets a bit harder to handle the weight and balance part.

Finally got out for a tour. Did a 497 Km route from Nanaimo to Kelsey Bay. It was terrific except for the rain that started about half an hour before Sayward. Note to self invest in rain gear. It was a rather cold ride home. But enjoyable none the less.

Today we went for a ride on our new bikes. Did about 35 miles and stopped at the coffee house. Was about 50 F. when we started off. Went up to about 56 for the ride home. :D

Very nice. Well - what is the difference from riding the PCX?

I cut the grass, killed weeds, spread grass seed, and sprayed for bugs around the outside of the house yesterday. Well into spring now.

It's like fatter and more powerful is one way to describe it. Since it has a low center of gravity it handles exceptionally well for being a bike that weighs over 500 pounds. Wind doesn't blow me around. It's windy this time of year. Smaller place to sit. Not able to more my @$$ around much. All in all very different ride. But, a good ride.

I got pretty cold this morning. :( All because of my spring/summer readiness. ;) I removed muffs and ditched pinlock as it was scratched and in March it was quite warm and I hoped it will stay that way. But nooo... It's April and 1C in the morning. Brrr...

Didn't realise you were both tradeing up (must have missed that part). What happened to the old bikes?
Someone at work who just passed their full test says he felt much safer 1st time on a 500cc bike than the 125 motorcycle due to wider tyres (better grip when cornering) and better brakes (dual discs, probably ABS).

Those are olive trees (not sure if that's how you say it in English). Probably all the olive oil you have in the USA comes from this region.

Cool. That was my guess but I didn't want to post it and embarrass myself. We use a lot of olive oil and olives here.

I am new to this forum so hello. I can say that I have ridden as low as 25 degrees. But the spedometer and fuel gage quit working at about 30 degrees

@qwayzarr - Unusual for your gas gauge and speedometer to stop working at at 30 degrees. May want to get that looked at. Also 25 degrees (i'm assuming 25 degrees F.) is a chilly ride! There is a forum member that rides in single and minus digit temps without a complaint. Amazing!

@iceman - We didn't trade our scoots in. Still got them and plan to ride them. My Husband likes to go shipping on the scoot. My bike is the CTXN DCT which has the ABS brakes. John's is the standard transmission and has no ABS. kind of bummer that's like that. I do remind him of that fact so he doesn't get cocky.

@MikeP and adrianwo - Awesome photos of your scoots! Really enjoy them!
